Like I wrote in the topic I started - this guy scares me for some reason, just a gut feeling. He hasn't played for a good team in the last little while and Phoenix isn't exactly an improvement. Safer than Tellqvist I suppose...Might be able to turn into something positive.

Definitely. Esp O'Neill could do surprisingly well. Out of the people left there are some real misfits. Also a couple of injury plagued people that if healthy could do really well. But as soon as I see Anson Carter .

I don't live in the US but even I find that hilarious.

I like Gelinas. Not exactly the signing that is extremely necessary for the Wings right now. But he works hard and might be able to take some pressure of our young ones. Hopefully his attitude can rub off. Depends on the money and length of contract...I like the guy tho and wouldn't mind seeing him back. When he isn't injured he brings stability. His size wouldn't be too bad and he could contribute. Again contract size and length is a key issue. This guy I would like as our PP is lacking in point-men. Having Samuelson only is...scary...

To be honest most of these names are quite attractive and will probably draw a lot of attention if they aren't resigned by their respective teams. Too bad...

Ryder played a brief stint in Sweden and I really liked what I saw...But I'd rather give Filps a shot first...Most of the other names are quite cool tho...

Can't really say I have that many memories from before this season. I guess it comes with not being able to watch very many live games in Sweden. This season I actually managed to watch most of Detroit's games - esp in the play-offs. Hopefully there'll be more great moments coming for our team!

I can understand why people want to watch the Penguins cuz of their young and exciting squad but...I just can't seem to find any attachment to the players - sure Crosby is great but I just can't seem to get very enthusiastic about the overall performance of the team. Personally I enjoy watching the Rangers cuz of Lundqvist mainly (not cuz he's Swedish but bcuz he was the goalie for the Frölunda Indians my favourite team in the SEL). I also love to watch Ovechkin - keep in mind that the Caps suck and I don't particularly enjoy any of the other players on there with the exception of maybe Semin. Weird how that goes. I also love the Leafs and I always want them to do good but they never seem to make the right moves. Usually tho I end up picking my "faves" to end up in the Finals and try to cheer for them...Looking at squads and attitudes and finding the most fun teams to watch once the Stanley Cup finals come around.
