I just find it amusing considering all of you are of mainly European stock anyway... IF he plays in the NHL next season he'll have to be healthy otherwise he'll quite likely retire. And if he's healthy then he IS the best alternative out there because he'll accept getting a short term contract...Considering how far from the cap we are money won't really be a problem as long as Forsberg signs for a year only...

I don't really want anyone more this season. I'd rather give our young ones a try this season that trade/sign anyone half-chancy this season. Still it's been a decent off-season and I'm not gonna complain. Definitely better than last years. And for you people comparing us with Philly, NYR and even Anaheim then I'd compare our respective seasons and player losses before judging...

I just straight copied that list of FAs from Spector's blog and some of the people might not be available when the time comes, but I'd still say that next year will offer MUCH better players than this year. Including some fun people like Heatley, Hossa, some unsignables like Sakic and Sundin aaaaaaaaaand FEDOROV.
