did Don Cherry say something to the extent of the league will come down hard on Sobotka with a $10,000 fine for swinging the octopus tonight?... or did I mishear him? i was only half paying attention.

I don't understand it either. I live in a farming community in the thumbish area of Michigan and everybody LOVES Nascar. I just don't get what makes watching a bunch of guys driving fast and making constant left turns exciting. I guess it might be better in person but I highly doubt it. I have considered putting a number 19 sticker on the back window of my pickup. But then i realized that people will just think it's nascar, I'm still going to do it, just have Yzerman written above it. I would like to know the explanation as well. EDIT: I have tried to watch NASCAR, I never succeed. Most of the time I only watch it if Josh Turner is singing the national anthem [i LOVE HIM], then when he's done I change the channel.

I've never listened to him on XM before, but it is a possibility that they screen the calls before they actually go to him and he answers the fans. It's definately worth a try though. I signed, #309. yeah i saw that, and got pissed off. it was pure BS. ...but if it was Draper that stepped on Tootoo's back he would have gotten a penalty/suspension for sure.

that was amazing. i personally don't think that Avery dancing in front of Brodeur is against the rules. And if the NHL changes the rules so it is, that's just dumb. I want to see Homer pull something like that, goalies already hate him enough, it would be hilarious.

i think it's cute, a bit obsessive, but cute. he's just a kid, and every kid needs a role model to look up to.

i wore a Zata t-shirt into the Minnesota Wild store at Mall of America in Minneapolis this past January. Everyone started booing when i walked in. I was just looking around and my cousin asked me why we were in there. and i replied 'i'm imagining how sucky it must feel to be a Wild fan' loud enough for everyone to hear me then i walked out. lol. oh and right after that i put on my MSU sweatshirt and walked into the University of Minnesota store. i found it amusing, although nobody else did. i also wore the same shirt for my drivers license picture.
