Dmac's comeback was the highlight of my season. HONORABLE MENTIONS: Hasek poke czeching Gaborik Cleary standing up to Pronger Downey vs. Lappy Wings in the All Star Game Mickey Redmond [his comments in general] IMO this season was more entertaining that the past 2 put together. [EDIT] i forgot Babcock vs. Granato and how even with all but 2 of our dmen out we still kicked ass.

HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY!!! mine is Saturday i think my dad got me a Lilja jersey... he's not very good at keeping secrets. and i'm getting my license. ... decked out in Wings gear my mom is going to be pissed. she just doesn't understand hockey. especially playoff hockey. i second that

During playoffs I usually only get 5-6 hours of sleep when the Wings are playing on the west coast, but i never think twice about staying up and then getting up at 6 to go to school. everyone can tell when there has been a game the previous night. due to the fact that i get cranky when i don't get enough sleep. but when we lose i skip cranky and go straight to *****. sometimes i feel bad for my friends, and anyone else who puts up with me...

i always wear a red wings shirt on game day, red wings hat, my red wings necklace, tigers bracelet, this year it will be accompanied by red and white embrodery floss and my Yzerman jersey during the game. also, if i'm drinking anything during games i have to drink it with a red and white straw. (i started that at the beginning of this season) and i can't forget my rally towel from last year's playoffs. [i didn't go to a game, my dad got tickets and took his brother instead of me!!! i didn't speak to him for weeks lol]

your son is so cute! i swear i saw Dallas Drake at Chuck E. Cheese once. I was putting my sister's tickets into the counter machine thing and him and his son were putting theres into the one next to us. it was right after he came back here during the preseason, so i wasn't really familiar with his face. Saturday, September 29, to be exact (I went to the game later with my grandfather, and i don't think he played). i'm still not sure if it was really him, but i swear it was, the man was even wearing a red wings t-shirt. i just kept looking at him over and over trying to figure out if it was him. he didn't say anything, only smiled. I asked my dad and he said he thought it was him (he had 'the hockey player nose'). so there is my seeing a Wing outside of a sporting event story. if it wasn't him he has a person out there who looks an awful lot like him.

Even though Simon has done worse things, I still hate Pronger more. There is a big difference between the 2: Pronger injures other players because he see's an opportunity. Simon injures other players because he can't control his anger. Both are at fault. 8 games is more than a joke, it's practically telling him 'oh you are a star so we'll just tell you that you've been a bad boy and hope you won't do it again.' I have no doubt that Pronger will do it again though.

Avery was out most of the first half having surgery on his wrist if i remember correctly.

YES he is one of my 3rd favorite non-Wing player. Shanny and AO come first.

Although the goal took place years before i was born it's still a no brainer that it is better than the Super Bowl catch. I have seen that movie millions of times, it's my favorite, yet i never tire of watching it. And whenever i seeit, and the replays of the actual game or even just the voice clips it still sends chills down my spine. Yeah sure the Super Bowl changed a team and their fans. But Miracle On Ice changed the Soviet Union and United States, and probably even the world.

the name on the front of a jersey is more important than the one on the back. or in this case, the name on the GM door. until you realize this, you will 'hand in your Red Wings card' every few days or so. get over it, he know's what he's doing.
