I don't think Andrew Ference and Brad Ference are brothers. Andrew is still with Boston but his birthday is March 17, 1979 and Brad's is April 2, 1979, so they cannot be brothers, unless they were adopted.

I'm not at all saying more fans is a bad thing, but if there were more fans would'nt that take away tickets from long-term fans that can't afford to buy them for the whole season? It's going to take something big to get more people interested in the NHL. I only know half a dozen people who watch the games all season, everyone else only cares if their home/favorite team makes it to the playoffs, they don't care what it takes to get to the top, as long as their team is there.

They also have Scrabble Championships on ESPN now didn't you know? It's a bit pathetic really. They won't play hockey but will show scrabble games. My cheers go to FSN Detroit for now. :beerbuddy:

We have quite a few veteran players left from the Avs/Wings rivalry, yes the rivalry is dead but do any of you honestly think that he will ever fit in as a Wing? ever belong wearing the winged-wheel? And that's not even mentioning his injuries, he certainly isn't worth 4 million.

QUINCEY. hes tougher, and he will stand up for his team mates. yeah he has just not in an NHL game. but one time Chelios was getting pretty banged up and Quincey started punching the guys that were roughing up Cheli, but a fight never really broke out

I know that Sammy and Lang havent been playing well in the playoffs, but this isnt the right time of the season to go bashing them. The whole team needs support right now, not bashing. But yes, Babcock needs to play Franzen and Filppula more.

Even if Calgary does injure Dom, we still have Osgood. He has been doing really well lately. But yeah, if they think that is the only way they can win, they DEFIANTLY dont deserve the Cup.

My apologies. NHL.com's Standings didnt say who won the President's Trophy in 2003 so i just figured it was the Wings because someone else on a different topic said they had won the President's Trophy every year since 2002. -

Just think about it this way. Every season since Lord Stanley's Cup came to Hockeytown in 2002 we have won the President's Trophy, and CHOKED in the post-season. This year we DIDNT win the President's Trophy so we wont choke in the post-season. HOPEFULLY! -
