OK, there seems to be some confusion on what channel Sunday's game will be on. If you look at the ESPN game schedule it says it's going to be on NBC, but NBC 5 here in Chicago will not be showing it. They are broadcasting the Caps/Rangers game earlier in the day. The Caps/Rangers game is listed on the ESPN schedule as being on NBC Sports Network. So my guess is that in markets like Chicago where they are showing Caps/Rangers they are going to flex the Wings/Flyers to NBC Sports Network. I wish the league would make it a little clearer when they are doing crap like this.

This is really odd because in the Chicago market on Comcast, the Wings/Wild was not on NHL Net but was part of the regular CI broadcast schedule for that night. I watched the FSN local feed on CI. NHL Net was showing NHL on The Fly and not a full game. That being said about last Saturday, you are 100% correct about games that are broadcast on NHL Net (and also VS and NBC) not appearing on CenterIce. This basically means that if you live outside Michigan the only way to watch every single regular season Red Wings game is to have CenterIce, NHL Network, VS, and NBC. If you don't have all of these you'll miss at least a few games this season.

..easily the worst game this year of the 70 or so i've seen. that 2nd period was hilariously bad. lazy, lethargic, pathetic. the home fans deserve much better than the effort being displayed here tonight.

I live in the 3rd largest television market in the country. I have NBC, Versus, NHL Network, and NHL Center Ice and i'm unable to watch this game. This my friends, is a complete joke!

does anyone know what feed NHLNET is taking tonight? i hope it's FSN Detroit obviously but the San Jose guys are actually pretty darn decent.

Almost every other major city that has an NBA & NHL team share an arena including Toronto, Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Boston, Atlanta, Washington DC, Denver, Dallas. They make it work you can bet the Palace would manage. It's a fantastic venue but I dunno it would just feel so wierd for it to be the Wings permanent home. I don't think I could deal with that emotionally. Temporary while Olympia II is being built downton fine -- but not "home".
