Bad call none-the-less. But no McCreary is kinda awkward.

What are we talking about again?

I like how every Pens fan here keeps repeating that the Pens went 8-1-1, like it matters. Apparently they don't know the difference between Playoff hockey and regular season. Wings Defense is a whole lot better than the Penguins. Don't get me wrong, Pens have a great Defense. It's just that the Wings are better at it. "But-But! Pens have the best GAA in the playoffs!!"... Get of that pony already. You played against a s***ty Ottawa team. Rangers blew. Yes they have a great goalie, but since when did they score? Have you seen their goals for? And Philly lost two great Ds. I'm not predicting a sweep, as nice as it would be just to shut up some of the Pens fans that I keep hearing around me. You know, the bandwagon fans. Not calling you guys them, but I have a bunch of friends that happen to be pens fans now. But I will say who ever wins the series will win it in 5-6. Which is the Wings. PS - Lets not forget about Zetterberg and Datsyuk. Selke finalists. And Draper who won it.

Nice video.

Wait, who's Jagr?

My top 10 in order: 1. Lidstrom 2. Ovechkin 3. Datsyuk 4. Zetterberg 5. Crosby 6. Malkin 7. Thorton 8. Iginla 9. Chara 10. Kovalchuk My list carries only 2 defensemen and 2 two-way players. I can't think of any other D's that deserve to be on top 10. Give Phaneuf a few years and he can be up in top 10 in my book any day.

Pittsburgh Penguins? Don't you mean the Pittsburgh Crosbies?
-
No, I agree too. You spoke my mind.
-
This man knows what he is talking about but Kronwall should be up there too. I know that Lidstrom is our best D but do you see who has the most points as a D?

How about if I give a good reason to drink Gatorade?

I hope Wings win just to Chelios retires. He's getting too old.

I'll try to give a realist match-up with the pens. Detroit Offense 1. Datsyuk-Zetterberg-Holmstrom 2. Hudler-Filppula-Cleary 3. Drake-Draper-Samuelson 4. McCarty-Helm-Maltby Detroit Defense 1. Lidstrom-Rafalski 2. Stuart-Kronwall 3. Lebda-Lilja/Chelios (Thanks to Pensfan for the update on the lines for the Penguins) Penguin Offense 1. Dupuis-Crosby-Hossa 2. Malone-Malkin-Sykora 3. Kennedy-Staal-Ruutu 4. Laraque-Talbot-Hall (Roberts) Penguin Defense 1. Gonchar-Orpik 2. Whitney-Letang (Scuderi) 3. Gill-Scuderi (Letang) And now because i'm very tired and kinda lazy at the moment I'll refer to each line as DO1, DD1, ect... These are the match-ups that I think might and could happen. PO1, PD1 vs DO3, DD1/2 PO2, PD2/3 vs DO2, DD2/3 PO3, PD1/3 vs DO1, DD1 PO4, PD1/2/3 vs DO4, DD1/2/3 Discuss?

Tell that to the ducks last year when they did the same thing and scored a goal... No offense Duck Guy.

The refs need to button their shirts. Their stars jerseys are showing.

Thats why Wilson isn't much of a coach to begin with. I never thought he was one of the elite for coaching.
-
He wont win it. Simple as that. If you have seen the other candidates you would understand. Aaron Voros Jason Blake I think these two have the biggest shot at winning. Full list here.

Heres to a speedy recovery. He just started to turn a corner in his game. Hopefully this doesn't put him back and he plays as well as he was before injury.

You don't think Miller would take a pay cut to play in Detroit? If I had the chance to play in Detroit, in my home state, I would for SURE take a pay cut. I think Miller would take a pay cut if the option came up. As much as I like Howard, if we had Miller I'd be even happier. You can't totally blame Miller for this season, his team was pretty bad too. But then again, who is to say this even going to happen? Hard to live in the future when we have Osgood who has been tearing it up and Howard who has been good in the AHL.

Just saw that the link was posted, I was about to do it myself. I was pretty impressed with the way he played. I liked that he skated hard and threw his body around. He wasn't afraid to get into the mix which is good and impressive for a kid coming out of college. Sucks that Kopey is out now though because he just started to turn a corner in his game. If he takes Kopey's spot I won't mind one bit but I'd rather see them drop Hartigan because he has taken too many lazy penalties.

They could probably use Svatos. Meaning he needs to step up his game. He's a young stud just not much has come from him.
-
I'll have to agree with you on that one. Unless this game sets the groundwork for next year?
-
Anyone else watch that game last night? That was one of the best games of hockey I have seen. Especially with the winning goal. Nice tic-tac-toe play by the Sedins and Naslund. The fights were awesome too. I'm kinda shocked at how poorly Edmonton took the losing. Anyone else have thoughts on this game? Because I think the Wings need to play like Vancouver or Edmonton, with energy. They look tired or they just aren't playing with the same passion they did in the beginning of the season.

Yeah I know Kesler is tough. Thats why I said it. Think of him like Jordin Tootoo. Detroit has Maltby but he's getting older. We need someone to fill his shoes of starting s*** with the other team.
