Howard was great this game. What I think will be a big test for him is if they start him tomorrow. That would be the real test for him but I don't think that will happen. If Hasek retires next year, it will be Osgood with Howard Backing up. I would do that for a year then have Howard start depending on that year. Just my thought tho.

Yeah, whent Gagner took on Kesler he got a thumbs up for me because Kesler is not really someone I would want to fight. You see that first punch Kesler threw? Ouch!

He was there for a week or so but he was there. Anyways, Howard played amazing. Wing's just can't score. They aren't playing desperately enough.

Seeing as how I've been a Howard fan since he was in Toledo it makes me happy. Hopefully this trend will continue when Hasek is retired for good. Have Howard start and Osgood back up. Not that most of the loses were Ozzie's fault but some of the goals he should have stopped. Most of them were from poor support of the wings. They need to get back into peak condition but I think they are just getting tired. Its late in the season stuff like this happens. Hopefully they can get going again before playoffs start.

For everyone saying that Stevie is being mean when he said "Braxton is a nice young boy who seems to have been manipulated. I hope he can realize he did something wrong. It's not too late for him." Get over yourself. Please. This is what I took from the comment: Sure, the kid was manipulated into lying and do stuff that wasn't right. But what Stevie is saying he needs to understand that what he did was wrong and he can become a better person after realizing that. Then again... Thats what I took from Stevie's comment. He could of meant something completely else.

I love what they did to the Obstacle course. They made it a lot harder than it was before. Should be interesting to watch. As for the "Breakaway Challenge", sounds a bit odd but I think it will be something to be in awe about. It will be nice to see what these guys come up with on the breakaway (kinda like Malik's goal). The fastest skater will have to prove itself with me. I like the old layout but the fact that the players are going head-to-head will be cool.

The Sedin twins took control in the OT. You can not deny that fact. When ever they were out they were usually in control of the puck it is only fitting that they won. I was so torn with this game because I like Vancouver but the Wings didn't play so well against them so I'm skeptical about them facing each other. Oh yeah, its great to come home from work at 2:30AM and turn on the TV and see that there is hockey, I love CBC broadcasting!

I can't watch the game because I'm at work but I have NHL.com Scores on auto refresh and I keep checking score. 6-0 Wings! Samuelsson with 2 goals and 2 assists. He really wants to play. Hopefully he completes hatrick!

Yzerman said it best. "We needed to sign him." How could you not? Thats like having Brodeur when he first started off playing and he didn't perform well in some games and you're like "Well... He's good but some games...." You have to sign him. No matter the costs.

First time in playoffs he was a new player. Second time, I can't remember... Third time he was hurt. This is his fourth time i want to say? If he went to another team you would be angry with the rest of the people doubt Datsyuk. He will produce in the playoffs and I believe thsi to be the year because he's had a solid run at the end of the season and that will carry over. He's been skating and shooting well so that is good. Last year he went straight into playoffs after an injury, no practice. Give him a break.

Same for me, Soccer is an every 4 years thing. I might start watching with Beckham playing in the states but I hear he got hurt so I probably won't. If it is on FSN and I have nothing else to do it I'll watch it. I'm more of a casual fan.

I can't agree with the Ducks winning. Thats hogwash! I'd rather see San Jose wing but being a Wings fan I always want them to win and I believe they have a legitimate chance too or at least to get deep into the playoffs.

I'd make a joke there but It would just get erased.

Nucks and Sharks are the only teams that scare me in the playoffs. I said that around NHL All Star game because those two teams are great. I'd rather play the Av's in the first round but if it is the Flames then I am fine with it.

A new arena is a plus! That would be sweet. JLA is cluttered. Not enough leg room!
