Im not exactly sure when pregame skate is, but the game starts at 8:36pm and pregrame is at 8:00pm. So maybe some time around 7:50pm is the start of preskate?

Anyone else see that game last night? Freaking nuts!! Captain, Oh Captain Maleyko, scored the game winner in OT with 11 seconds left after a penalty was called (delayed). Everyone was up screaming and cheering. Regardless what happens I like the Storm, not the arena. So far I've heard that the Toledo Mud Hens, baseball team for those who don't know, are buying them out and basically making the team fold. They are going to change the name and put them into the new Ice Arena, hopefully it gets built soon. I can't wait till it's built because it sounds like its going to be sweet and it will bring people back into Toledo because the Mud Hens can only do so much. Anyone else have thoughts?

I already stated what I feel about Hull saying that. I think he was way off based and shouldn't have speculated on something he knows little about. How is Datsyuk not happy? He plays on PP, PK, 5-5, is that not what a player wants?

It would be a crime not to sign him. Sign him for 22m/4yrs. Incentives for the playoffs, maybe throw in an option year. Wings need to keep him and Zetter locked up. Those two are the building point for the new era of the Wings.

The way Lidstrom has played this year it would be a crime not to give him the Norris trophy. He's leading in the +/- department second in D overal points? (last time I checked he was.) He's always on the ice. Around 29 minutes a game is a lot of ice time and is always practicing. Not to mention all of the good plays he makes which are countless.

I've never liked play-by-play while watching. If there was a way to mute the voices and only get the sounds in the arena, like the skates cutting into the ice (love that sound), then i would do it. I don't need someone to tell me what's going on. Hull sounded like a broken record talking about Datsyuk not staying in Detroit. Didn't he come out and say he wanted a long term deal or that he wanted to stay here? Didn't the Wings say the same thing? That is just silly, especially with the notion of Datsyuk going to the Capitals because of AO. Maybe I was mistaken about Datsyuk and the Wings saying those things, but I don't believe they are going to let someone go as precious as Datsyuk so easily.
