If you want you're own downloadable DB, you'll have to create one from HockeyDB I am guessing and then constantly update each game. Too much of a hassle for anyone to do but I'm sure it isn't all that hard if you know C++ though you could just use Excel for it.

I'm an off and on fan of Ozzie. If he is playing well and doing great, I love 'em but if he starts to suck it up? Screw him. Though he hasn't really had any bad games this year. Any games he lost, he didn't have a whole lot of support from the Wings.

That could be the case but then the Storm won't be in the new arena. It will be in the one that was stated in you're post. I still think that the Storm, in general are going to go elsewhere because their attendance is not as great as it used to and the scheduling for the games is just ridiculous. They had a a game down in Dayton at night then had to be bused back to Toledo for a game the next morning at 10:30 AM. They lost 5-1.

If Wings don't sign him, I'll go to Detroit my self and have a few choice words with Ilitch. Plus, who says he wants credit in the form of money and not for the whole Detroit community to accept him? I know there are a few people who are Detroit players that don't like him because how he has performed in the playoffs. But great post by the way. It is pretty much a done deal. Like the only thing could happen is if like the Mud Hen's owners died or something. There is like a .0000001% chance of it no happening. I don't know who the Wings would use as their affiliate. I just know that they aren't going to put a AA Hockey Team into the new arena.

I so agree with you. Who cares if they market 1 or 2 players? You can still watch it on you're local station. I think its great, something this league needs to get back into the mainstream.

I used to play hockey there when I was younger and looking at it from being on the ice, it is not so bad but the facility is horrible! Whenever I go, I don't go to the bathroom there! The Zamboni is probably one of the best things about that place because they haven't gotten a new one. I love to watch that thing clean up the ice. The Mud Hens buyout is already a done deal, now the Storm is meeting with the league April 3 to talk about their future. The Toledo Blade is calling it the 'Beginning of the End'.

I agree with you right there but the high caliber player that Zetter is, it won't take him long to get back into the groove. They are going to rely heavily on those two but also on the rest of the team.

Yeah, I meant to say AHL team. But thats hardly the thing. Toledo is a great place to place a team in the new arena if it is either ECHL or AHL and I also heard a rumor that if there is a new arena we would get an Arena Football team in there too. That would be so sweet!

Its going to come down to who's hot between Filp and Hudler. But they are both doing so well right now.

I know for a fact that the Storm will make the playoffs but I'm not sure how far they are going because all of their players are in GR while GR players are in Detroit. It sucks for the Storm but it is something we have to deal with. I just want that new arena built because it would help bring money back into Toledo.

Hopefully he plays tonight because we sorely need a win.
