Pros, Cons, ................etc. MILLER'S LONG TERM PLANS INVOLVING THE WINGS? NIAGARA GAZETTE: Tim Schmitt reports the agent for Buffalo Sabres goalie Ryan Miller (Mike Liut) claims he's currently in negotiations with GM Darcy Regier over long and short term deals for his client. Regier had previously mentioned Miller was interested in a short-term deal, leading to speculation he'd like to one day return to his native Michigan to play for the Detroit Red Wings. Spector's Note: Hat tip to George Malik's "Snapshots". As Malik points out, this is probably nothing more than a negotiating play, but I daresay this'll pop up from time to time on the trade rumour message boards and blogs. If I had a nickel for every time I heard about a hometown guy coming back home to play, but that player never did, I would have a s***-load of nickels.
