Guest hockeygal Report post Posted April 20, 2007 (edited) Before game 3 began, this team could do no wrong. Then they go on the road and lose two close games to the toughest home team in the league this season, and the doom and gloom starts enveloping the forum like a virus. Wings will win in 7, with the home team winning every game. Ordinarily, home ice means jack squat in hockey. But it makes such a huge difference for the Flames this season, for whatever reason. But we all seem to forget here, that the Flames beat the wings on March 20 at the Dome, then the preds, then went on to win 4 in a row on the road, and the first one on the road was Chicago in the Afternoon.....I see a repeat happening here. I feel the pressure is really on our Wings here, as the momentum has shifted in the Flames Favor and the Wings are so under pressure because of Playoffs past.. This Flames team reminds me of the 2004 Flames team that beat the wings in 6... I see Dejavu Edited April 20, 2007 by hockeygal
Guest LivingtheDream Report post Posted April 21, 2007 This topis is just faking ridiculous. Hockey is a players game. Period. That is just so dumb. It's just a simplistic little cliche that cannot be accepted if one thinks. Why have coaches? What is a coaches job? Following your line of "thinking" Bowman was just lucky to win all those Cups - just in the right places at the right times? So if we lose the first round, we should keep Babcock? Why did we fire Lewis then? Dumb, dumb, dumb.
