Grypho 195 Report post Posted May 7, 2007 So I went on a fun little search to see how many vids I could find that showed pics of sharks eating an octopus or winged creature of some kind, and came across the following two instead. I had thought about keeping them to myself, but then changed my mind, thinking, "Screw it. I found them, fair and square when I wasn't even looking for them. Let them see them and have their fun." Enjoy! National Geographic: Albatross Vs. Tiger Shark Watch the video. At the very end comes the prophetic comment: "...in fact, the Sharks don't always win. Amazing what knowing you're about to be eaten can do for your motivation!" (shark vs. octopus - far more apropos for this series from a Wings fan perspective): The final words: "To say the least, it was a big surprise to find out that sharks were being taken by an octopus, a mere invertebrate. Kind of gives new meaning to "top predator". Uncanny, or what?

Grypho 195 Report post Posted May 7, 2007 Have to admit that because I was looking for vids that gave the opposite impression, when those two hit me square in the face I laughed my ass off. Even the temptation to shove them under the carpet cracked me up, as I found myself laughing at yours truly -- twice, no less.
DaKineMaui 8 Report post Posted May 7, 2007 OK #1 - thanks for the vids....great footage Only question I have is on the 2nd of the 2. Maui style? Those ******* "professional" aquarium people were surprised? Should be a prerequisite to spend a few years surfing before you're allowed that position. "Brah - you no know dat f***in' tako was gonna make dem shahk stay all bus up? f***in Tako was choke big.....grinds for a week cuz. Lil shark no like chance 'em - why you put 'em in deeya? Guest LivingtheDream Report post Posted May 7, 2007 The tentacles represent our grit and defense snuffing out the Sharks size, speed and offensive prowess You know, Octipi are supposed to be very smart. Shame so many die for a hockey game.
