omnipotent_hudler 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2007 (edited) How long until Federer is just auto placed into the final match and the slam tourney's become a competition to see who gets to face him? That being said, as much as I feel bad for Roddick(and anyone else who is playing during Federer's soul devouring reign of terror), I still enjoy watching the matches because I know I'm watching a legend in the making. Cruiser008 37 Report post Posted September 9, 2007 Federer comes through in the clutch again. What a legend. P.S. Why was Sharapova in Djokovic's corner? Hmm?

Aussie_Wing 354 Report post Posted September 10, 2007 Yawn. No one, bar Nadal, is mentally tough enough to match it with Federer on the other side of the net.
NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted September 10, 2007 (edited) Before I put this thread to bed, I just want to post my quick thoughts. While I'm ready for *anyone* to beat Federer, the guy is simply a GOD. As I've said before, he's the most dominant athlete of their respective sport, bar none! Did anyone see the comparison between Woods and Federer yesterday? The stats were all pretty similar but what glared out over all was that Federer is only 26 compared to Woods being 31! History in the making people. It may be a little boring, but you have to appreciate what he's doing. Here's hoping Conners and Roddick can figure it out before the Australian.
