edicius 3,269 Report post Posted October 16, 2007 THey're bitter becasuse of the 2-0 loss against the Wild, and having big BOogaard cleaning the clocks of Perry and May. The SHarks are dropping gloves too. Not that y'all care, it's just interesting how gooned up the league has gotten in the last year or two. And how the officiating is more against fighting than protecting the players. At least the Sharks are respectable about it. Learned that from the playoffs last season. evil204 4 Report post Posted October 16, 2007 Cool. 7 penalties in the first 10 minutes, and only one of them was deserved (Cleary shoved into the boards).

Defenseman13 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2007 And yet another f**king penalty to the Wings. God, we're only a few games in and the refs are already raping us in the ass with these "calls" um, please leave "us" out of the ass raping. That's all you. terri27 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2007 I think there is a new rule-If a plyer on the opposing team even looks at a Duck player there will be a 2:00 or more penalty. This is getting ridiculous.

Sevumar 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2007 It's obvious to me they way the refs are calling this game that the NHL has it in for Detroit. Only a two-minute minor against Mowers was BS. That and last year's phantom call in Game 4, it's now becoming crystal clear. Looks like Pronger's been running a cheap shot training camp out here.
redwingslady87 130 Report post Posted October 16, 2007 will we ever play 5 on 5? yeah when the refs pull the whistles out of their asses to clean the s*** out of them.

I've been on the west coast and I've seen nothing but favoritism for your team since the late 70's. Not to mention nobody whines more about penalties than Wings players. At least that's what I've been seeing for 30 years. The Wings are professionals, they'll kill the penalties and come back strong. THey're good enough. They'll get under the Duck's skin, the Ducks will take some dumb penalties, and the tide will turn. Bad officiating is part of the game.

Ive noticed this since the first year under the new cap. Slumping teams always seem to get the calls. Bettman wants to keep the league competitive, and hell do whatever he can to swing a few wings towards suffering teams. Hockey is a business, first and foremost. edicius 3,269 Report post Posted October 16, 2007 I'm amazed we got a PP here. Wouldn't expect that the Ducks would have gotten an unsportsmanlike there. Hmm. Ducks should have gotten a delay of game there, they were jerking with their bench door purposefully.
YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted October 16, 2007 What a ******* waste, Pavel. You did nothing but waste a good 5 seconds on that PP.
joey_corleone 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2007 This is exactly the kind of officiating that infuriates me. This is what I am talking about when I speak poorly of the "new" NHL rules. If you are watching, specifically the calls on Lidstrom, and Chelios, both resulting in Anaheim goals....god damnit!!! Jesus Christ, 90 seconds into the game, and they had already called 2 absolutely ridiculous "holding" penalties. OK, now with about 1 minute to go in the first...what the hell even just happened? How was that 3 penalties there nobody barely even touched anybody! don't know what happened to my original post, was deleted when I was trying to edit it. So, sorry to the person that had replied and agreed with my perception
