It was just one game, and it was a Monday, but still it doesn't bode well for the NHL. It seems there is a movement in the US to kill hockey. Without center ice the only way to get hockey is on the Versus channel. I tried to purchase FSND and i was refused .There is no way the sport can grow without coverage. It's actually worse then that. ESPN radio spends a lot of air time knocking the NHL. I've often wondered why the NHL didn't throw some cash at ESPN to shut then up. It worked for Nascar.
