Yemack 1 Report post Posted December 12, 2007 It is just pure saddness. It just pains me to see all those empty seats in opening night. Wings really need to address this ASAP btw nice pics
Louisville 112 Report post Posted December 12, 2007 Wow, I was there too. I didn't realize they were THAT empty. It may only be because it was the intro/warmups that the seats were so empty at that point. But it's still sad to see. I wish I could afford and have the time to go to Wings games because I'd go to every home game. Nose bleed section or not.
po-GoWings 1 Report post Posted December 12, 2007 yeah illitch should look at the pistons. $10 tickets. instead the $22 seats come to $30 after the ticketmaster raping.
statboy 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2007 yeah illitch should look at the pistons. $10 tickets. instead the $22 seats come to $30 after the ticketmaster raping. People always compare Wings tickets to Pistons tickets, but that's not a very good argument. The Pistons are required by the NBA to sell 300 seats at $10 a piece, but look at the prices across the board, and Pistons tickets are even with the Wings in many areas, and way higher ($125 and $175 for sideline lower bowl) in the rest. The Palace also has 2,000 more seats, and yet the Pistons sellout streak is still in tact. It wouldn't hurt to lower ticket prices in the $44 and $22 sections, but $54 for the bottom of the upper bowl and $76 for the lower bowl is a pretty fair price in comparison to the Pistons...
