2probert4 8 Report post Posted February 17, 2008 Wouldn't mind Stuart. The Wings scouts have been following the Kings games as of late, looking more and more like Stuart is the target.
Dabura 12,232 Report post Posted February 17, 2008 Good news. Someone said on the last page that he's more or less Markov, but better. I'd have to agree with that.
YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted February 17, 2008 I'd be pissed if Lilja was moved before Sammy, Kopecky, and Hudler. I'd have to get a new mascot, and since Sammy doesn't drop the gloves, he'd be hard for me to market. Im not saying Lilja will be "moved", Im saying if we re-signed Stuart, we wouldnt re-sign Lilja. In which case, he can move himself..As for Sammy, Kopecky, and Hudler...well thats irrelevant cause theyre forwards and were talking Dmen here..
Booster313 138 Report post Posted February 17, 2008 Its probably for stuart, who i hope will take lebdas spot. If the asking price for federov is a 1st and a prospect. Holland just turn your head. I would gladly pay that....if Feds agrees to an extension. If he's coming just for the playoffs well then it's too much. Out of the possible top six forwards we can add I think we have the best chance of getting Feds to reup and I also think he would cost far less than the other options in terms of what we would have to give up, that's why he's my first choice. That beings said I think bolstering the D is more important at this point.
Stevie Y Datsyuk 2 Report post Posted February 17, 2008 Living in Mass, I was able to see Stuart play for the Bruins and honestly, I was not impressed. He turns a lot of pucks over and he gets beat a lot. I must be one of the few Wings fans who doesn't want Stuart to come to Detroit.

I don't want Stuart to come to the Wings for the reasons you mentioned. Prior to this horrible & embarrassing losing skid, I would've been fine if we didn't do anything, but that appears to longer be an option.
