mmorland 16 Report post Posted March 12, 2008 "Speaking of injuries, what's this we've been hearing from the Red Wings about knees and shoulders and jaws and groins and such? We're closing in on mid-March, you know. When are they going to turn into upper- and lower-body injuries?" - Detroit Free Press. This can't be more true, haha. It's time for that transition. WhiteLightning91 105 Report post Posted March 12, 2008 (edited) My fav is the "overall body soreness" injury. Can't use a more general term then that. Edited March 12, 2008 by WhiteLightning91
Deke 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2008 The best is the FLU. Usually means healthy scratch but they wanted to save the player some face. Or guilt free vacation time for the player. Otherwise most players play through the flu. Nicky did this year and you could really tell he wasn't 100%, but still one of the best on the ice.
