Hank Dats 'N Homer 81 Report post Posted March 21, 2008 Well i got up nice and early, got on the computer and purchsed myself some tickets to round 1 game 1 like i do every year now. I know the season ends on the 6th, but i was wondering 2 things. 1) who does everyone think we are ganna be facing in the first round. me, since im going im hoping we are ganna play vancouver or the AVs because they would be great teams to watch play. But as a wings fan i rather play a team like minnesota or something, since we know the first round seems to be our roughest over the years haha. 2) when do you think the first game is going to be? Being a college student, i purchased the tickets first, than thought about the consequences afterwards. I have classes mon/wed nights, and im hoping it wont fall on those nights. Anyhow I think I would prefer Nashville in the first round over Vancouver. Although I am not terribly afraid of either team. I am hoping the fishes and the ducks face off first round. Anyone have any inside info or a guess? I'd say it's either the Canucks or Avs. I'd much rather face the Avs as I think we'd mop the floor with them. zombiewing 3 Report post Posted March 22, 2008 chelios would skip class to go to a hockey game... seriously, you might be able to make it after it starts-depending on which school you go to. tricky but doable. the playoff games usually start later/last longer anyhoo. 4rd period live>last 2 periods on tv.
