NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted May 13, 2008 http://redwingscorner.blogspot.com/ "Looks like Jere Lehtinen will be out for Game 4 with a knee injury. Here's what Dallas coach Dave Tippett said today: "Lehtinen doesn’t look like he’ll be a player tomorrow. Barnes is still out. Morrow and Modano weren’t on the ice today. They should be fine for tomorrow. And Fistric is sick, so that’s why he wasn’t out there yesterday." Another break for the Wings.
gowingsgo 3 Report post Posted May 13, 2008 Can't worry about the other team. Just have to go out and play our game. Those guys don't suit up, we still have to win the game
10 Minute Misconduct 104 Report post Posted May 13, 2008 Does it really matter if Lehtinen plays or not? Another break for the Wings would be getting Franzen back.

40#1Fan 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2008 http://www.mlive.com/redwings/ For Dallas, coach Dave Tippett said right wing Jere Lehtinen (knee) will sit out for the second straight game. Brendan Morrow (elbow, shoulder) and Mike Modano (head) didn't skate but Tippett said they should be fine to play. Forward Stu Barnes (concussion-like symptoms) and defenseman Mark Fistric (flu) won't play.

NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted May 13, 2008 Does it really matter if Lehtinen plays or not? Another break for the Wings would be getting Franzen back. Yes it does. A top-line player with 8 points (4G, 4A) in the playoffs missing in a potential elimination game is the very definition of a break.
deker 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2008 (edited) Time to watch Lidstrom hold up the Campbell trophy for the 1st time tomarrow night He'd better not touch that thing! Or at most, just simply accept it and skate off. That's not the trophy we or they care about. No, I'm not superstitious at all! Edit: Er...that's assuming everything goes as planned tomorrow... (Dammit...I better not have jinxed anything) Edited May 13, 2008 by deker

NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted May 13, 2008 (edited) Give me Franzen and they can have him and Barnes back That's not the point. Franzen is out, which is a break for the Stars. Lehtinen is out, which is a break for the Wings. Franzen's status has nothing to do with the break the Wings receive from Jere being out. Edit: I don't mean to come off wrong, but I'm just pointing out that with Lehtinen out it is in fact a break for the Detroit.
