Wings_Dynasty 267 Report post Posted May 15, 2008 Besides the goal that should have counted (O'Halloran you never cease to amaze me) the refereeing was pretty much what I expect. The Wings were to "sticky" during the game. Some calls were questionable, some were deserved. The team with the chance of being eliminated is typically given more slack and I have accepted this (although it is morally questionable). You will see the advantages the Flyers get tomorrow. Rafalski's penalty was very dumb. You don't just swing your stick blindly at the skates of another player hoping for puck. And the refs turned their heads for most of the holding the stick calls on both teams (although I saw Dallas doing it a LOT more than the Wings). Just stay out of the box in Game 5 and play 60 minutes and it's in the bag. GO WINGS!!!
Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted May 15, 2008 I honestly would have never thought we'd be complaining about the Wings, of all teams, on taking bad penalties. Whatever.
Vincanni 1 Report post Posted May 15, 2008 Also have Cleary stress test his sticks better prior to going on the PK, talk about a bad break for Danny boy.
NHLrules? 32 Report post Posted May 15, 2008 They tried to play down to the Stars level today. It happens. Like you said winning like they have been they relaxed a bit today. I think we still relax on Sat and the same thing happens but after that we play lights out in Dallas and send them back to the stables to sodomize Ribeiro for the summer. 10 Minute Misconduct 104 Report post Posted May 15, 2008 That was actually a good penalty by Rafalski or else Richards had a break away. It was his gaf that was the problem. However, we still only held them with 22 shots and peppered them with 35 ourselves...even tho i didnt think we had that many watching the game. One thing is clear however, no Franzen = no second line.
