vinnyd23 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2008 These Red Wings are talented enough to win the Stanley Cup this year and with good reason. They've got a great mix of young guns on offense and on defense, and great goaltending. Guys like Fillpula, Hudler and Cleary are in the same class as Holmstrom and Frazen. If Frazen can be sucessful playing at a higher tempo, then these other guys will too. Playing tenacioulsly and peppering the opposing goalie with shots will put these guys into the same category as Zetterberg and Datsyuk. The Wings will need to bring the fire power to win Lord Stanley, and these other guys are the key. Pour it on, and lets get to the FINALS!!! LETS FINISH OFF DALLAS AND POSITION OURSELVES TO BRING HOME LORD STANLEY ONCE AGAIN!!!! 11 of 16.......and counting! Keep it going guys!!!

swiss_fan 3 Report post Posted May 15, 2008 Nor Flipper for sure (at last for the moment) For me Flipper and Cleary have been both quite disappointing for the moment not at all like Hudler (especially since Franzen is not here they didn t step up)!

Yeah, 'cause Cleary totaly wasn't on pase for a 25-30 goal season before he got his jaw broken. I think out of Fil, Hudler, and Cleary, Cleary's the only one near Franzen and Homer's level. VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted May 15, 2008 Filpulla never developed consistency, so he's a dud, including these playoffs. Cleary...well, I don't know what happened to Cleary. He's making plays but nothing seems to be paying off for him. I don't knwo if he'll ever get back to form. It seems when something like this happens to a player they just taper off. I hope it's not the case. Hudler has always been decent, but I'm not sure if he's here to stay.
