I have an authentic ccm all star jersey from 04 and I think that one fits great, as well as a ccm replica L. Has anyone heard anything about that rumored switch back to the old material.....or did they already do it during the regular season. Rivalred 630 Report post Posted July 6, 2008 If memory serves me correctly, part way through the season last year players were complaining of sweating even more and it would run down into their gloves + the material was ripping way to easy during scrums and fights so they were in the process of working on a new better material than originally released - that is the last I heard or read... I could have sworn I heard that RBK was planning another switch due to complaints.The Edge "2.0" jerseys were brought out about a 1/3 the way through the season last year to address the player complaints. Basically what was done was the back panel of fabric was replaced with the air-knit material used in the pre-Edge jerseys. This added some "breath-ability" back into the sweaters. The orginal jerseys were not withdrawn from use, but the 2.0 jerseys were made available at player request. It's understood that the vast majority of players opted for "Plan B". Unfortunately both of mine are replicas but I too have a CCM and RBX Jersey. Both are XL's and the CCM is a little bigger than the RBX jersey but it is not very noticeable.
