I remember being so excited to see the wings press conferences when they would sign or trade for a big name. Seeing the guys put on the winged wheel for the first time still gives me goosebumps. I was also wondering about the number he will wear. I kinda figure it'll be 81, as Maltby won't give up 18 i take it. BTW, I'm a long time lurker, and a first time poster. I hope you hate the Wings goaltending situation no matter what, and have crazy dreams about welcoming old Wings players back to Detroit. Otherwise you won't fit in. But don't worry. dericks 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2008 Thanks everyone for the welcome! I do actually hate the wings goal tending situation, and I'd love to see some old wings back with us too. I still have this never ending pipe dream that Luongo will tend goal for us, but it is prolly just that...pipe dream. As for the PC though, I still think the best one was Brett Hull's. Your correct -- he's in Slovakia, or was at the time of the signing itself.
