I wonder if this was set in motion before the Nolan firing because if I am the Gm or owner of that young team I would rather have Nolan than Murray.

I think Terry Murray is not a bad choice. We'll see. It's definitely an interesting one. The Nolan firing was stupid though. No doubt he'll find somewhere to go.

Nolan is a vetaran savvy guy and isn't much good with young players. L.A ONLY have young players..

Murray is a good choice, but fairly obvious if you look at the front office with Lombardi and Hextall there...

they all were with the flyers in the late 90's early 00's.

i think it'll be a long time before we see Nolan coach another NHL team, although he kinda got screwed out of both of his coach's jobs. It seems evident to me that he doesn't play the politics of the job at all well...

Hmmm... I didn't even know Dean Lombardi was with the Flyers. Nice pick up.

But I agree with you. Terry Murray could prove to be a good choice. The amount of coaches they've gone through recently is kinda ridiculous and they need to establish some stability to the club.
