Doc Holiday 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2008 Osgood was absolutely monstrous last season. I don't know what the guy has to do to earn mad props around here. Maybe if he wins a vezina then he will be thought of as a "pretty darn good" goaltender. Personally, I don't care what people think of Ozzie because he has been loyal to the franchise since he's been here, won 3 cups (1 starting, another backing up a "better veteran" then coming in after he choked), in the top 15 in wins, best win percentage in that category, one of the top in playoff wins (best in the franchise), 2 (?) Jennings trophies, was a candidate for the Smythe this year, reworked his entire style of goaltending in a year to adapt to the butterfly, had winning records on two terrible teams, carried the Islanders to the playoffs, and makes great saves when it is asked of him.
