ESPN's Hradek continues in his series of best players for each team. Can't argue much with these:

DETROIT RED WINGS

Best forward: Gordie Howe. As much as we all love Stevie Y, I just can't go against Mr. Hockey.

Best defenseman: Nicklas Lidstrom. He's among the five best defensemen to ever play this game. Period.

Best goaltender: Terry Sawchuk. Whether you want to hear it or not, Chris Osgood is closing in on the legend.

I would put Steve Yzerman over Gordie, but I am not saying Hradek is wrong, either.

I'm so excited to watch Ozzie inch closer and closer to the Wings' records and cementing his Hall of Fame nomination.

Gordie is one of the top three greatest players ever..Steve Y is far behind him.

Red Kelly is close behind Nicklas Lidstrom though.

Sawchuk is also basically untouchable.
