Duck Guy 86 Report post Posted October 16, 2008 (edited) ya i was there tonight .... but I will say this they looked much more alive in this game and they did not take that many penalties (though they did get a PP goal scored against them) oh well. And next game VS. sharks will be a good test. maybe next game -Game notes: everyone at game dislikes penner for obvious reasons .. but i got to remember he was a big part of the ducks cup so it is a love hate thing... oh and some insight from ducks forums... Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted October 16, 2008 ? Yeah, a Conn Smythe in a losing effort and a Stanley Cup ring are nothing to write home about. I'll give him the 2003 playoffs, he was drop dead great. But since then he hasnt been as good, he wasnt the reason Anaheim won the cup, he was good enough, and with Niedermayer and Pronger in the primes of their careers, he was expected to win. Kipprusoff had one great playoffs, and has regressed in all 3 seasons since. I just dont believe either are great. Martin Brodeur, Roberto Luongo, Henrik Lundqvist. Those are money goalies. Anyways, it was great to see the Ducks lose again. Now Colorado, Chicago and Anaheim are all having problems early in the season. I like it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
