Episode premieres Thursday, Oct. 30 at 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m on FSD chronicling Justin Abdelkader, Cory Emmerton, Mattias Ritola, Thomas McCollum and their experiences through training camp. Through interviews with Holland, Nill, Griffins head coach Curt Fraser, player development director Jiri Fischer and others, viewers find out what is expected from prospects as they progress through the organization. Each of the four featured players describes how he strives to live up to the expectations and embrace a whole new way of playing in the professional ranks. Each player has his own story: from the teenage rookie goalie (McCollum); to the speedy forward (Emmerton) coming off a season of injuries; to the college hero (Abdelkader) looking to play for the team he cheered as a kid; to his Swedish linemate (Ritola), whose countrymen have made the winged wheel as popular in Stockholm as it is in Motown. There is also a preview available on the link provided. Thanx so much for posting this and taking the time to put the link to the video on here as well. Those of us in Canada really miss out on these Detroit Fox Sports things as we cannot "legally" subscribe to that channel. While we can see the Fox coverage of Red Wings games via the Center Ice package sometimes, we miss out on all the pre and post game extras as well as features like this one. Anything else like this that you can provide links to or videos of is very much appreciated as this site is really our only access to Fox features and extras on the Wings. :beerbuddy: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I encourage all Wings fans to definitely follow George Malik's "Snapshots" blog. He's always updating Wings related news and posts stuff quickly from what the team is doing, injuries, game analysis from around the net, and pretty much anything Wings related. He's also really good at linking to videos and highlights. Also, I want to add I'm pumped to see Abs featured. He grew up right by me and went to high school with all my friends.
