Guest GordieSid&Ted Report post Posted November 16, 2008 10 goals in 13 games. Looks like being placed on the second line hasn't slowed Hank down at all. I would have to say it is very liikely that if he keeps up this pace he will hit 50 goals. Any thoughts? I'd love to believe it'll happen but I highly doubt it. Hank always misses time. That back of his has a tendency to give out occasionally, along with other ailments he seems to suffer here and there. IMO, we have so much firepower, and with Dats/Hossa logging lots of PP time, that combined with Z's penchant for missing games makes me doubt he can do it. Personally, I don't really care if he scores 50, i'd just like him to not miss any time as he's too valuable in other areas.

Nev 1,085 Report post Posted November 16, 2008 Hank said at the start of the year that one of his goals for this season was to break Hakan Loob's record of goals by a Swede (50) - certainly well on track
Guest Crymson Report post Posted November 16, 2008 Zata can definitely get 50. And I could even see Mule getting 40. If the coaching weren't bad, Filppula and Cleary would probably be doing better also. Yes, I have decided that it's the coaching.
