Grand Rapids Griffins (8-3-2-1) @ Milwaukee Admirals (7-5-0-1)

The Griffins are on the road to play their 4th game in 5 nights as they take on the Milwaukee Admirals who downed the Griffins just two days back. Recently acquired Hugh Jessiman scored the GWG as Milwaukee held on to a 5-4 victory. Former Griffin Drew MacIntyre is expected to get the start for Milwaukee.

Ville Leino is back in form having gone at a point per game pace since he returned whereas Darren Helm is on a four game point streak. Rookie Cory Emmerton had a multi point game in his last outing and should be in the line-up again tonight. Evan McGrath and Jan Mursak were healthy scratches two days back but are likely to play tonight as they look to rotate the team.

Probable line-up:

Wilson - Abdelkader - Leino
Ritola - Helm - Haydar
Mursak - McGrath - Pare
Downey - Oulahen - Emmerton

Ericsson - Pyett
Kindl - Galvin
Stafford - Jozsa

Larsson
Howard

Team Leaders:

Goals: Abdelkader (8)
Assists: Leino (12)
Points: Leino (16)
Penalty Minutes: Abdelkader (29)

Notes:

• Jimmy Howard conceded 5 goals against the Admirals on Sunday and therefore Larsson should start tonight.
• Darren Helm has 9 points in 7 games this month.
• Ville Leino’s +/- rating of +9 is the best on the team, comfortably ahead of the next best in Oulahen (+5).

Game underway! Here is what I believe the line-up looks like.

Helm - Abdelkader - Leino

Ritola - Gagnon - Hayder

Mursak - Emmerton - Wilson

Downey - Oulahen - Lemieux

Kindl - Galvin

Ericsson - Stafford

PJ Atherton - Kolosov

Larsson

Disappointing to see McGrath scratched, he played 3 really good games, producing a few points, and he's back to being scratched again. Pyett also sitting, along with rookie Francis Pare which is a surprise. I really hope Mursak has a strong game.
