question about replica jersey

So I picked up a really cheap NHL reebok replica jersey from a friend that did not want it anymore. The only thing though was no player name or number on the back. Is there any place I can bring it into and get the name/number put on it? If so, how much usually does that run? I have never had an NHL jersey before so it is new to me lol

Fanatic U is a brick and mortar store in Garden City and livonia... They do it for a pretty decent price.

Playball in westland also does this as well.

Both stores buy the lettering kits from the arenas of the team you bring in so both are pretty much authentic minus the quality of jersey.

Question.. why do you want number and name? A jersey without number and name is timeless, dont have to worry about player getting traded etc..

because then you would be generic...

take a risk... be bold and like a player that might not be on the team next season... its okay, it really is!

And then expand your views and like that player on the other teams they are on... it expands your collection and at the same times allows the jerseys to not be so boring as blank

The only blank jersey wings jersey i have is one that i use to get autographs on... i never wear a blank wings jersey...its just too generic....and bland. Spice up your life :)

exactly what I think.

I am leaning towards a Franzen jersey.

personalized is the way to go, sinec i live like 5000km from detroit and right in the middle of edmonton/calgary territory i do not see a lot of redwings jerseys and when i do they are either lidstrom/datsyuk or zetterberg (which i already have) so i get blank jersey's from a place then get them done at jersey city. You can also order them from there if you do not have the jersey yet but last one i got took me about 7 weeks to get in.

Think my next jersey is the outdoor classic with Hossa on it, since i imagine he is only gonna be here for this season (but hope not), do not think i will get another one till after this season is over to see who we still have on the roster. i am kinda leaning towards a hudler jersey to be honest, then franzen then maybe a leino if he sticks next year. also kronwall wouldbe nice.

oh yeah do not do it yourself in marker, the kid has a couple redwings jerseys i bought him that were not personalized, i came home from work and he had drawn all over his home jersey....said he wanted a zetterberg jersey lol it looks terrible now so i will have to get him a good jersey i guess, the good news is he was a huge edmonton fan before i started dating his mom, but he was cheering for the wings on monday :)
