MississippiWing 14 Report post Posted November 28, 2008 So as I see it the Wings are doing quite well. Minus the obvious lapses on defense a few times this season they seem to be playing well. I am most suprised by the play of Conklin. My question is this. What is the best record any Stanley Cup champion has had through the first 20 or so games next season. I mean I think the Wings have definitely proven the "Stanley Cup Hangover" thing wrong but I was just curious if anyone knew who had the best record the season following their win.
