dat's sick 1,002 Report post Posted February 12, 2009 Goal by Forsberg in the 1st period in his comeback. And it was a really, really nice one at that. It's only the SEL but still.. the man is still brilliant. That foot better work, I want him in the NHL next season.

VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted February 12, 2009 You'll see him next season. Bank on it. Not if history is any indication. Maybe if he would learn to let himself heal, but so long as he keeps playing hockey before he is fully healed, he's going to keep re-injuring himself and delaying a full-time comeback. I didn't say for the full season And I believe his reinjuries has more to do with the doctors not knowing exactly what was wrong with his ibody, especially his foot. But anyway my point was that I strongly believe he will try to make on final push in the nhl next season. Or at least try.
dat's sick 1,002 Report post Posted February 12, 2009 Wow! How lame! yet another Forsberg thread. Who Cares?? Merge this with another Forsberg thread so that it too can die. What's the other Forsberg thread? I did a search and this was the latest thread I could find, so I bumped it to update that he is plaing again and scored in his comeback. What we don't need is 19 threads about the latest little Hossa and/or Franzen tidbit, 17 threads about our goaltending etc. 1 or 2 threads about the status of one of the best to ever play the game isn't exactly flooding the message board. Then merge it with last years comeback thread and let it die there. I'm personally tired of hearing about Forsberg or Sundin. It's all mumbo jumbo to me. If he does comeback he'll last what 2-3 weeks, bahhh!! just retire already. I would rather hear about Hossa or Franzen any day. (Just my opinion) Its not a shot at you, In fact I think you have the best name here "Dat's Sick".
dat's sick 1,002 Report post Posted February 12, 2009 (edited) Then merge it with last years comeback thread and let it die there. I'm personally tired of hearing about Forsberg or Sundin. (Just my opinion) Its not a shot at you, In fact I think you have the best name here "Dat's Sick". Well, guys like Forsberg make the league so much more fun to watch when they play that I think there are grounds for the interest and talk. It's kinda like if Datsyuk or Zetterberg (or Hossa/Franzen) started getting some real trouble with injuries.. wouldn't you want them to keep trying to come back? Forsberg is still "only" 35 years old.. and he showed last season that he can still play on a very high level. Without him Colorado wouldn't have reached the playoffs, and possibly not the 2nd round either, which might have given us a tougher opponent in that round, which in turn might have if not spoiled our cup run, then atleast made it more difficult. So you should be happy that he did make the effort to come back last year But it's cool, all the talk about Forsberg's foot and comeback this, retirement that etc. has at times gotten on my nerves too, I just don't think it's a topic that has been discussed too much on this message board.. And thank you Edited February 12, 2009 by dat's sick
ben_usmc 253 Report post Posted February 12, 2009 why bother playing for the Av's they are going to be out of it. Could you imagine if he could stay healthy and came to the Wings;of course it would never happen but still:Datsyuk/Z/Hossa/Forskin/Lidstrom/Rafliski/Hudler/Mule/Homer screw a goalie we could win if we pulled him and played 6 on
