Sorry if this is a repost, didnt see anything else on it yet... delete thread if it is.

Is stuart alright? What is the status on him? The way he went into the boards made my heart stop, it looked about as bad it gets. Not a dirty hit or anything, but head down head first into the boards is pretty much the worst thing that can happen to a player on the ice. He was moving his legs, and (sort of) skated off the ice, which is a great sign. However, I know these guys are tough, and even though he was able to move under his own power, the spine is a very fickle part of the body, and something could still easily be fractured.

Just wondering if there is any news on him? I hope he is alright. Its scary to see that happen to anyone on any team, but i was relieved when his legs were moving. Also (not to be morbid), but does anyone have a clip of this hit? i can't seem to find one anywhere.

I saw an article saying that he was trying to convince the trainers to let him keep playing, but they wanted to take some precautions. I'm suprised he didn't get hurt more. It's like one of those stories of a parachuter free falling to the ground and getting nothing worse than a cut.
