@Nashville 2/10

Hi everyone! This is my first time to the site. Next week I'm getting to attend the first Red Wings game of my life, the @Nashville game on 2/10. I'm trying to find out if there is a particular bar, restaurant, club, etc that our fans tend to frequent before or after games in Nashville. If I'm not asking in the right place, I apologize.

I'll be at this game too. I'm not really sure where Wings fans hang out. My aunt lives about 7 miles from the Sommet, so we hang at her house before we head downtown.

The Hilton is across the street, and they have a pretty nice bar/club. They used to have a sax player in the lobby some evenings that was pretty good.

Let me know where your seats are! Maybe you can come by and say Howdy!

I also will be at that game. Demo's is Downtown, a few blocks walk from the Sommet Center. Best steak and pot roast you'll ever eat! They treat you right there. Boys will be staying either at the Hilton or the Renaissance. As far as I know, they switch off between the two. Take a ride around both of them about 2-3 hours before game time and you might catch sight of the bus. If you do, hang around until they come out of the hotel. They are pretty good about letting you take pictures and such. We wil be in Sec 112 Row KK seats 1-4, wearing all our red wing glory!

We'll be in Sec 115 Row KK seats 13 & 14. I always go down to the glass to take pics during preskate. Make sure you come say hi!

We're going to Nashville the night before, so hopefully we can go downtown the morning of the game and see if they come out for morning skate. If not, we'll be back in the afternoon. I've been trying for over 6 years to get Cheli to sign for me! Please hockey gods, favor me just this once!!! :D

The sports bar in the Hilton has pretty good food, sometimes the Wings players stay there in that hotel.

There are a few places on both sides of the street on Broadway, going towards the Hard Rock. There is a BBQ place that is pretty good, you can't miss the sign.

Big River Grill is on the corner of 2nd ave South and Broadway, across from the Hard Rock Cafe. They (Big River) have a microbrew on site, its pretty good beer. Food isnt bad either. They do offer a sampler of their brews !

If you go North on 2nd, there are few bars on the end closest to Broadway, one is an Irish Pub, lots of good brews in that place.

Buffalo Billiards,

Coyote Ugly

There is a Fondu place called the "melting pot"

Not sure if the Spaghetti Factory is still in business or not, but thats located in the same area, same side of the street as Buffalo Billiards and Coyote Ugly

Sbarros Pizza

Someone mentioned Demos

and Last but certainly not least, is a HOOTERS

Im in 323 Row A that night.....

I forgot all about Big River! Geez....I think I'm getting senile. :D We've actually eaten there before games. DUH!

Spaghetti Factory is still open as far as I know. They serve lunch till 2, and dinner starts at 5.

Here's a link for 2nd Ave that has some of the attractions and restaurants.

I dont think there is an actual gathering place for the Wings fans, you just see them everywhere. Im really looking for ward to the stupid remarks about how terrible our team is. Someone started in at the last game about how the Wings suck, and I responded with "At least the Wings make money and aren't folding or moving" guy shuttup and walked off. Pathetic organization there on Broadway.
