CQCmaster 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2009 (edited) Dude.. I would be so happy if Hossa leaves.. That guy doesn't deserve +7 million with his pathetic style of play. On top of that to be making more than Datsyuk who is the best player in the NHL. Even Zetterberg shouldn't be making more than Pavel but Zetterberg at least is worth the money. If they sign Hossa for around 6 Mil, then I am okay with that (max value). Otherwise Detroit is screwing themselves. Franzen is much better than Hossa and he is playing for 5.5 starting next season. In fact, if Datsyuk wasn't playing with Hossa this season I am sure he would have scored over 100 points easly. Hossa is just slowing him down with his stupid mentality. Basically all I can say this about #81... he has Superstar skills (probably the fastest player in the NHL)... but mentally he is under average for an NHL player... which doesn't really make him a superstar player in my opinion. It's just bad chemistry having him in Detroit. Get something else for 7.45 Million and not him. Oh, and should I say that he almost cost us that series against the Ducks even though it was the most biased officiating that I have seen to date. They should have sticked his ass on the 3rd line which would have liberated Datsyuk and made him more effective than he was.
