How are we looking as far as injuries go? Holmer and Stewie back for this game?

What about the Sharks? I saw they got Roenick back and he's on "The Douchebag Line" with Claude and Shelley.

Stuart might be back for Wednesday. Homer isn't close to returning.

Going to the game Wednesday with my dad. Can't wait!!! First game since the 2003 season. It's a long overdue for a visit to the Joe...

Just wanna see what some peoples thoughts on Ville Leino. So far I think he looks like he is in top NHL form. After tonight against the wild I think he has around 6 points in 8 or 9 games? Not bad at all & I hope they keep him around to compliment the young talent we have coming up. Well thats my first post...GO WINGS!!!

I'm headed down to this game as well. The 9 hour drive from the Yoop is going to suck, but it'll be well worth it. I've only been to one game before, in 1997 maybe, when I was 10, I hardly even remember it. Super psyched.

You guys will love it. I've only been to a couple games in my life, most recently a Dallas game. The thing that surprises me about the Joe is that even if you're all the way in the last row you still have a great view of the ice. And I've got to give compliments to the NHL on the netting that's above the boards, I didn't even notice it!

yes, Leino has been great!! But what about Helm!! Darren Helm reminds me of what Draper and Maltby use to be! I think a line of Helm, Leino and Sammy would be awesome!! But it is hard to take Leino from Hossa and Flipper!! I like the fact their numbers are 81, 51, 21, exactly 30 nuimbers apart, that is weird, but I'm sure Babcock had something to so with it!!

As for the Sharks game, that should be a good one, I'm personally hoping for another 6-0 victory!!

Another note, I was watching the Sharks and Kings game lastweek, and the SJ announcers said that besides Alex O, the best player in the league is Joe Thornton!! I couldn't believe they said something like that!! Joe is aaverage at best!! Talk about a homer call there!!

I would hardly say that Joe Thornton is "average at best"! He is definitely not the second best player behind AO but he is for sure in the top 10. If he is only average, then there are a lot of below average players in the NHL.

Bruins just lost to Tampa Bay, so that helps on Red Wings' bid on the Presidents Trophy. Sharks have also done some stumbling lately, but not more than the Wings. The upcoming game will be very important.

Only Vancouver has a better record in the last 10 (8-1-1) over the Wings (7-2-1) but the Sharks are 4-2-4. So your point is deemed invalid.

Thornton no doubt is a great player, but he would be the best in the NHL if he simply would shoot the puck more...too many times I have watched him on tv and in person and I swear he does not like to shoot it seems. As great a playmaker he is, if he shot more he would easily be in the running for the MVP and Scoring Titles each season, but anyways I am hoping for a good solid Wings perfromance and a big W!

Just before this ten game streak Red Wings lost five (0-4-1)in a row. Sharks had their slump (1-2-4) few games ago, but now have won four in a row. Red Wings have come closer, but every time they have a chance to go pass Sharks, they seem to lose. I meant that both teams have played well, but also have lost few in a row in the last 15 games.
