Guest Shoreline Report post Posted March 26, 2009 (edited) They were without Patrick Sharp for the last few weeks, they play so much better with him in the lineup, which he came back to the lineup on Sunday against LA Just Sharp? I have to believe something else was wrong if they were playing this badly over that long of a stretch. Nonetheless, after 1 Hawks lead 3-1. The Sharks might keep Nabby in now. Electrophile 3,554 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 I'd like to see a 2nd period much like the 1st. Lots of goals for Chicago here.
Guest Shoreline Report post Posted March 26, 2009 I'd like to see a 2nd period much like the 1st. Lots of goals for Chicago here. I'd like to see if Chicago can keep that energy up through the second. Sharks were doing some serious damage control the entire period.

Taosuntzu 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 A couple of years ago Scotty Bowman attended a GM conference about using the euro leagues torpedo defense in the NHL to create offense. For the past couple of years I been waiting to see if he was blowing smoke to try and get teams to use it, so that his team can rip it apart, or if he was serious and no one believed it would work. Tonight, Chicago is using it. San Jose tried to use it on a couple of shifts. I am starting to see what Scotty meant. I think it will replace the L&R wing lock. Guest Shoreline Report post Posted March 26, 2009 You've gotta be s***ting me. The Hawks a few seasons ago couldn't even sell out any games and now they lead the league in attendance.. Talk about turnaround.

Doggy 130 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 (edited) I still think they're playing like s***. Note, the time of the post and the word "start". I think the Sharks had an easier time clearing their zone when short-handed. The Hawks ain;t exactly chopped lived. This forecheck is obscene. Don't they still have an Alberta road-trip? Their run home is no easier than Detroit's.
