And they're doing it at the best time of the season. s***! yah its kinda cool. All of the sudden a Wings/Ducks 1st round is possible and my girlfriends uncle has season seats at the pond, which would mean free playoff tickets! He can take a solid team and make them really good, but I can't imagine him being the head coach of a Stanley Cup winner because of his system. The Sharks have even struggled against the Kings lately. If the Wings don't nail top-seed, they stuffed up. Simple as that. The ball is in the Sharks court there, they play against teams they can easily beat and a good portion aren't even vying for the playoffs, whereas the Wings will be battling teams who are desperately trying to make it into the playoffs or solidify their spot, and mostly in the division who know how to play against the Wings. Really this #1 spot is the Sharks to lose (and has been most of the season). Just like last time the games were even the Wings played outstanding and yet the Sharks still came out on top with points.
