So Sharks with the edge by games in hand takes #1 spot from the Wings thanks to the Hawks' inability to hold the lead.

And for f***s sake CAN THE SAME PEOPLE PLEASE STOP TURNING EVERY TOPIC INTO AN OZZIE BASH THREAD.

If Ozzie didn't play for us this year we'd already would have clinched the President's Trophy. Period.

Of course. If it wasn't for Ozzie the Wings would be on a 74 game winning streak this season.

Sarcasm? not sure how to take this.

Vancouver in 5, they have the better defense and the better goaltender... Luongo > Huet + Khabi (at the same time in net).

Unlike the above, that actually wasn't sarcasm. Vancouver is looking really strong, while Chicago is falling apart.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Canucks won 4-0 if they do meet in the 1st round.

Atleast the Hawks won the shootout. Shame they gave the Sharks a free point though.

Osgood has blown a lot of games. Any back-up, even myself in net could do better then a 0.87 save%. Osgood is the worst goalie in the league, any back-up could of done better. THAT'S A FACT.

No, what's a fact is that you're derailing the thread with this crap. No one here could do better than a professional, I don't care what they say behind their computer monitor. "Ooh look at me, I can do better than Ozzie! Sign me up, Kenny!"

Spare my ass, would you.

11 goal game. Both goalies sucked tonight.

Kudos for SJ for the comeback... even though it pisses me off!

alrighty, i wasnt sure

Chicago's defense is lame, they may have the offensive touch with their d-man but they can't really shutdown other teams as seen tonight.

Why do these homer announces ALWAYS bring up Sharks injuries???

I don't remember Red Wing announcers crying when we played poorly when we had key injuries.

Rooting for Chicago and Nashville on two straight nights is just a terrible thing to do. If the Predators can beat the Sharks in regulation tomorrow, I like the Red Wings chances of winning the West. Six home games left for the Red Wings and the Sharks still have to go to Calgary and Edmonton.

Yeah, mentioning injuries is such homerism.

I refuse to listen to you when you say that Nabby sucked tonight after those brilliant saves in the 2nd-3rd.

That's fine, but giving up 5 goals in regulation.... sucks. And don't think I am picking on Nabby, cuz I call Ozzie or Conks out when they give up 5

We have to root for Nashville tomorrow? Ugh. I'm going to need brain bleach.

Is your Tootoo whistle ready?

Yeah, mentioning injuries is such homerism.

It's a pet peeve of mine... These are professional announcers? c'mon!

I remember Mickey saying plenty of times "injuries are part of the game" after a loss. While SJ announces say, "we are this good with a bunch of injuries, wait till we're healthy!" -paraphrased

Quite the contrary, the Sharks announcers are one of the most respected and homerless (if thats a word) announcers in the league.

Not just saying that because I'm a fan. Most teams recognize them as one of the best.

I hate to say it, but it is true.

They are one of the best I've ever heard.

Tonight they weren't as bad as I have listen to them. However, most nights they are just... ridiculous! It's annoying when they go on for 5 minutes over a weak non-call that could go either way.

I guess I'm use of Mickey who usually just bites his tongue and moves on from the bad calls, rather than stewing and crying about it like spoiled little school girls.

Indeed they are. I'm glad Drew Remenda is back with the SJ crew, instead of on HNIC. HNIC held a gun to Drew's head to be biased towards Canadian teams. :P

So first it's them complaining about injuries and now it's complaining about non-calls?

I would agree if they complained about non-calls that could have gone either way, but they complain about non-calls that should have gone the Sharks way!

And it's strange but I've heard your announcers complain about non-calls a few times. Maybe it's just me? It could go either way.

If I had a dollar for every time the Sharks scrounged a point out of a game... I'd be one rich lady.

Thank God the Sharks' one-point games will all equate to one big, fat LOSS in the playoffs! No Cup for simply stretching it to the extra periods!

(Sidenote: maybe the Sharks have the least 1-point games of all-time, but it just seems like lately they always manage it)
