This looks like a great event for a very worthwhile cause. Taken from the article:

Asked if she belonged in the hall of fame, Howe remarked that she was already in it because "she's a part of me" and "she was as much a part of the teams as I was." She's been honoured, but is not a full member, of the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame. Now that the larger institution at Yonge and Front has decided finally to begin inducting women into a wing of their own starting next year, Colleen Howe may deserve consideration as a builder.

Does she belong?

"Hell, yes," says Gordie. "More than a lot of people we know. I say yes."

Of hall voters, Howe adds: "They make mistakes, too."
