EuroTwin 240 Report post Posted April 10, 2009 (edited) hahah, anyone hear the Sharks announcers? Lol! They are talking about the: "Gordy Howe hat trick"- paraphrased: Announcer1: "What is the Gordy Howe hat trick?" Announcer2: "It's just what they call it" Announcer1: "It must mean something?" Announcer2: "I guess it's just a weird hockey tradition with no meaning?" Announcer1: "Yeah, it must be!" What IDIOTS!!!! That's pretty dumb. But what's even worse? After the first or second Phoenix goal the annoucers admitted they didn't know which Phoenix player had scored because they weren't paying attention to the game they are paid to watch and analyze. That's sort of when I gave up most hope for them. Edited April 10, 2009 by EuroTwin

Mike 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2009 I hope Phoenix has one of those games where they play like an NHL team and completely demolish the Sharks. That they did. Honestly, I don't see that happening tonight. The Sharks know what they can accomplish by winning tonight, and on top of that, Clowe and Marleau will be back in the lineup which only leaves 2 players (Mitchell, Huskins) on the injured list. Guess you were wrong.
Guest Shoreline Report post Posted April 10, 2009 And that does that. 4-1 now Coyotes. Not that it means much.

hmmthesharks 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2009 That they did. Guess you were wrong. Yes I was wrong. The Sharks actually surprised me tonight. I guess they really didn't care too much about this game. It takes a couple of games to transition all the injured back in the game. The Sharks did get 40 some shots on goal and they were skating thats for sure. And I'm going to go out on the limb here, but Nabby definitely is not the same Nabby he was the last couple of years. I'm not sure if Dougie Wilson will look around for goalies (I'm sure he won't) but the five-hole has killed Nabby and he definitely is not acting like a Vezina goalie. I love him, he is a great guy on and off the ice, but he has to pick it up, and as the years go by, I'm not sure if he can or will.
Guest mindfly Report post Posted April 10, 2009 It's pissing me off how many times the red wings could have clinched the president's trophy but the three straight losses and failed to win the games when sharks lost will make them finish 2nd in western and probably 3rd overall... SLOPPY.
