WTF Center Ice?

Because it's not on Versus and baseball has started, my HD sports channel (shows 1-2 NHL games in HD) is showing s***ty baseball (I can't stand baseball) instead of hockey (the Bruins/Habs game was on tonight) instead of hockey, so I get to watch the Jackets broadcast (sometimes they show both broadcasts, but now that baseball has started...) in STANDARD DEFINITION... what the hell is this crap???

Did I mention I hate baseball?

Usually, the cable provider is spot-on. There are a LOT of Wings games that are THE game in HD for the evening. But since Opening Day, hockey's taken quite the backseat. Ugh.

Umm I hate to be the one to tell you, but the Wings arent playing tonight. Center Ice or otherwise. You are most likely watching a replay in SD.

I live in Buffalo, transplanted from Detroit, and work for what is most likely your cable provider. Game 3 should be showing on Channel 532 for Center Ice viewers tomorrow night at 7pm.

Long Live the Winged Wheel!

I've had zero problems so far with Charter Communications. Any games not on Versus or NBC have been on the NHL Center Ice/MLB Extra Innings channels without a hitch, as well as replays of the games. I've had a few MLB games, but they've never overlapped the NHL games. As for HD stuff, can't help out there as I don't have HD on my TV.

I had HD issues as well, but that was on ALL HD channels via DirecTV. The SD channels all worked fine (and eventually at least the NESN HD Bruins broadcast came through), so I think it was perhaps a satellite issue for us in this area.
