Quick question about playoff tickets

Rate this topic

Recommended Posts

I was just wondering what some of the prices were for the tickets last year during the Stanley Cup Finals. I've doen some looking around and couldn't find a whole lot of good info.

I was wondering because if they make the finals this year, I am planning on making a trip down to catch the potential game 5 and 7. I have never seen an NHL game live in my life, and figured if they go the distance again this year, it would be a good time to start, and I need to find out if I could afford to do it.

Also, what hotel would any of you recommend to stay in while down there? And places to go before games, and stuff like that?

yea I'm in the same situatino.. I'm a diehard wings fan from toronto that wanted to make the trip down for the finals.. When do tickets generally go on sale, and how much do they cost. I'm not looking for the front rows, jsut where the avergae middle-class fan usually gets tickets

I got a pair in Section 101 row 10 for $200 a piece and 3 in section 103 row 18 for $200 a piece for Tuesdays game. Bought them through the Joe's box office and was only charged a $5 processing fee for the whole order. Ticketbastard will have the same base prices with their crap fees. If you go through StubHub wait until game day as the prices will come down.

This is good. It means I should be able to afford it. OF course it would be even better financially if the finals (assuming the Wings make it) did not go to a seventh game lol. So I guess my trip all comes down to how big my student loan is. Yay!
