Last year all anyone could talk about in the media was how the Joe wasn't ever sold out in the playoffs and how it was morbidly quiet. Guess what, everyone, there hasn't been an unsold seat at the Joe for the whole playoffs - seven games worth. The economy is even worse than it was last year and people are showing up in droves, and throwing in a nice little PRONGER SUCKS chant for good measure. Sellouts for the whole playoffs - Anaheim can't say that. St. Lousy can't say that. Those bandwagon-ass cats in ESPN's gift to God and sports (Boston) can't even say that. No sellout for Game 7 against Carolina, or any other game for that matter. Seven sellouts, and unlike Chicago (did you see how many people jumped to their feet when we scored in Game 5?) we don't need help.

You're supposed to sell out in the playoffs, so naturally you won't hear a peep from the same media types who last year tried to put the Hockeytown moniker up for bid. Don't care - give yourselves a pat on the back, Wings fans. WE ARE HOCKEYTOWN!
