Johnny Diamonds 25 Report post Posted May 27, 2009 They don't teach many people from your background much beyond "leftie" thing, which is unsurprisingly why you're making such a clueless rant about minorities. Is this where a bunch of disgruntled old vets try to act like minorities are running the good ol' stars 'n stripes into the ground? Not "ready" for a black president? Not "ready" for gays to marry? Apologies, if you're stuck in a previous century. Clearly this is far worse than any "disorder" you can conjure up. We here revel in being far more enlightened than yourself. Keep it in the family, yo. SF > you. Any time, any day. Please. Envy more. And please, make me laugh with more WAHHMBULANCE about minorities and lefties. San Fransicko the sanctuary city for illegal aliens where enlightenment is breaking the law. How classy and modern of you. And the *** marriage thing lol. WHat was it prop 8 where 70% of California African Americans (Democrats who voted for Obama) also voted it down. Yet the cowardly gays run around protesting and mobbing against the harmless Mormons instead of making a stand and taking issue with the minorites in their own party who disown them. CLASSIC! Where men look like women but are actually men and vice versa. As the saying goes liberalism is a mental disorder so who is the the one with the mental disorder here leftie? ...........and on that note, it's time for you to go. Illegal aliens can't afford to live in an an area that costs over $4,000/month to live (median income of $80,000+ per family). This isn't Detroit. People here also tend to vote, something "illegal aliens" can't do. Strike two. You must be thinking of sanctuaries like Watsonville or Castroville. But you obviously know little about immigration too, and California. Btw, those "African Americans" who voted for Prop 8 almost entirely were from the Los Angeles area. San Francisco and the entire Bay Area region voted against it. Strike three, you fail. Btw, I'm not a Democrat nor Republican, but thanks for showing off more stupid typical uneducated US politics which compliments your humorous "minorities' stance I bet you were endowed with by FOX News. Please, enlighten us in the political discussion subforum. I'm sure we'll all get a kick out of the bulls*** you spew. Illegal aliens have been found to vote (repeatedly) in favor of Democratic candidates. But yes, it's illegal for illegals to vote.

This same assertion was made about "Mickey Mouse" voting in some ACORN debates last year (edit: I think I was having those debates elsewhere besides here), yet no proof has come up. I'd like some that doesn't come from conspiracy theorist blogs, if you may. Since it happens frequently, as you suggest, you should have no problem. Edit: I'm aware of Gray Davis trying to issue illegal aliens licenses, but this state also voted to recall his ass -- me included. This entire thing was about me talking about ratings and the SCF and you trying to make some heroic political stand so that your inner conscience can accumulate more brownie points to help exercise your white guilt. This is a Detroit Red Wings forum I come here to talk hockey, to talk about my team from my hometown. I don't come here to get in little political pissing matches with some hippie on the left coast. Heroic political stance? Hah! I asserted it is contrary to simple business and marketing to allow that period to go on with basketball being the focus and people forgetting about hockey. Basketball games (especially the Lakers) have had better ratings than the NHL games thusfar, and this time off would logically hurt the NHL. There's also a Yahoo article which surfaced regarding this as well. It is you who has a tangent with minorities and some ulterior motive established regarding said issue. He's in California, I'm in North Carolina. Not that you need to know that, but whatever. Although, he's a kickass guy who I would be honored to associate with, if we were in the same area. That being said, save your wackaloon political views for the portion of this site that has been set aside for them. Note that this is not it. No one here (meaning: hockey section) gives two craps about what you think of illegal aliens, liberals, gays, San Francisco or anything else devoted to those subjects. Ahh...a little political banter never hurt anybody. What else we gonna talk about, all I've seen about hockey on TV tonite has been a pens lovefest and a crock of s*** about how much better they are than last year. There are more Lakers fans in the city limits of Detroit than there are Pistons fans in the city limits of Detroit and btw Detroit is over 90% African American. Most of which are not hockey fans. Thus making my point valid. They will not watch the SCF regardless of when it starts. And we are talking about the hometown of one of the teams involved in the SCF. ESPN will not market hockey more than 5 minutes a show whether it's the SCF or any other playoff game. They don't have it and they don't care to cover it. Maybe they are, maybe they aren't, I don't find your rant to be substantiated regarding this layover. If there was a reason this game was scaled back to the 29th or 30th (which I hope not as I have more of a personally vested interest in seeing my team rested) it has to do with keeping people IN GENERAL away from the NBA which is in direct competition, at this time, with the NHL. The suggestion that people who watch the NBA will just stick to the NBA anyways, regardless of race issues you bring up (which overlook the WHITE PEOPLE who watch basketball+hockey and whose interest would be diverted that way with a longer layover between series'), has no merit. Well, let's just say it has as much merit as those suggesting that Bettman would move it up because he wants the Penguins to win and secretly has *** sex with Crosby. swiss_fan 3 Report post Posted May 27, 2009 Oh wait, it might not be good for the NHL product to wait over a week before playing the SCF? The fact is, we even shouldn't think what is good for NHL or not: We re talking about a sport and so far i remember, what is good for sport is that there is a fair competition and that the best win! It s the problem with such guy as Bettman who see the business everywhere, stating it s good to have the pens deep in playoff and such matchup like AO-Crosby: guys! it s a sport and we canno't choose the outcomes, or we^(the league) shouldn t ; so it s really stupid to state what is good or not. About the date's change, clearly it shouldn t be allowed to change the terms of a competition when this one is not over. I actually can t understand why the NHL wasn't able to forecast all the possibilities and to make a calendar regarding the results: what is actually done is switzerland...
