Hockey History Repeating?

I wrote this article on May 21st discussing the above subject. See link below:

It has since been covered by various sports media personnel including a weak effort by Damien Cox of the Star in the so-called centre of the hockey universe - Toronto.

Obviously there are limitation on such a comparison but in today's hockey world are these team's the closest we might see to a dynasty in the near future?

Check out the Franzen and Butch Goring videos - eerily resemble each other!

the comparison is idiotic and I wish everyone would shut up about it. seems the majority of this board agrees with me. Comparing the 80s oilers with today's Penguins is laughable...and buying into the Crosby hype by comparing him to gretsky is even worse. He's not even the best player on his team for crying out loud.
