forgive me if this has already been addressed in my absence but a simple search on LGW resulted in more threads than i cared to investigate. after all, the inquiry is Stanley Cup Finals. (good issue to have)

just curious why the FINALS are now known as the FINAL. the logo and all representations i've seen indicate Stanley Cup Final, which seems strange.

anyway, just an honest question i thought of during a break from work.

pens fans are doing enough pissing and moaning to not need additional thread topics but this is for those of us who aren't listening to that classless nonsense.

Technically, it is the "Final" series, so it makes sense that its written that way.

Seems like it just changed last year. In the NBA it has always been the 'Finals'. Maybe to put a little urgency on the average person to tune in???
